Our Team of professionally trained Postpartum Doulas and Newborn Care Specialists understand the demands of parenthood affect all aspects of being able to care for yourself. Snugs and Kisses is committed to supporting you every step of the way! We only offer our clients the best in the industry. To maintain this standard each Snugs and Kisses specialist is fully screened in an intensive two-step interview process that includes:

  • a thorough criminal background check

  • social security number verification

  • reference checks

  • professional insurance 

  • current CPR certification for infants and children

  • verification of all trainings and certifications

  • assessment of character, disposition, temperament & professional work "style" 

  • continued education units (advanced doula/ncs training) annually

KIMBERLY BROWN

Owner, Postpartum Expert

Kimberly has been supporting families and caring for newborns since 2008. Leaving her career in cancer research, she founded Snugs and Kisses to pursue her passion full time. As a wife, mom, and entrepreneur, she knows exactly what it is like to juggle the demands of day-to-day life with a newborn. It is her goal to change the way families are supported by making sure every family dynamic has exceptional and personalized support. She uses her knowledge as a Certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Consultant, Infant Sleep Coach, and Newborn Care Specialist to help each family create the best plan to support their unique needs on their postpartum journey. Her open mindedness and gentle approach has led to her providing peace of mind and stability for over 100 families. She would be honored to show you the Snugs and Kisses difference!
 

OUR PURPOSE

In an effort to decrease maternal mortality, it is our purpose to help our clients recover from childbirth, replenish their energy, and regulate their emotions and expectations as parents. 

WHAT WE BELIEVE

1.  All aspects of  the birthing person's physical, mental, and emotional s health play a vital role in thier  recovery. 

 

2. Having professionally trained support when transitioning home with a newborn decreases antiery and frustration s and quickly builds confidence and self-awareness.
